Bianca Serbin is a junior at the University of Pennsylvania, studying History and minoring in French. She is interested in European and intellectual history, as well as issues relating to poverty and inequality in both Europe and the U.S. As a dual citizen of the U.S. and Brazil, Bianca grew up speaking Portuguese, which helped foster her interest in languages from an early age. She has since become highly invested in her study of the French language and Francophone cultures, and hopes to use her language skills throughout her professional career. In the summer of 2019, Bianca was a summer legal clerk at Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, LLP, where she helped corporate attorneys with document production and organization. She previously interned for a judge at the San Diego Superior Court in 2017. At the University of Pennsylvania, Bianca is a peer writing tutor at the Marks Family Writing Center at Penn. As a member of Penn Mock Trial, Bianca travels and competes in collegiate mock trial competitions. She is the intern coordinator and the project lead for the Portugal team at TTCSP.
