Major: Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE)

Minerva is a bachelor’s candidate at the University of Pennsylvania studying PPE (Philosophy, Politics and Economics) with a concentration in Globalization. She is pre-law and especially interested in international relations and public policies.

As an avid traveler, Minerva has been to 26 countries and immersed herself within different cultures, social customs and public policies. She has had first-hand experiences in exploring and identifying pressing issues, stereotypes, and misunderstandings among countries. These experiences have provided her with a unique of thinking on global issues and have enhanced her interests in international affairs and social policies.

Starting from 2008, she was selected as an anchor and reporter in Qingdao (China) Television 1 to investigate and deliverer stories on issues faced by teenagers and conducted interviews with prominent figures in Qingdao about youth rights. By working in 3 TEDx groups and UPenn Think Tanks and Civil societies Program, she developed comprehensive skills in researching, writing, communication, and team-working. In 2020, she funded Minerva Gallery in Hefei (China), devoted to build an international cultural exchange platform. With the rapid growth of both globalization and nationalism, Minerva desires to become a bridge among countries to solve conflicts and promote cooperation.
