Amanda Howard is a Freshman at the University of Pennsylvania. She is a Chinese language target in the Huntsman Program studying International Studies and Business. In the Summer of 2019, Amanda was an intern at the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office, the de facto consulate of Taiwan, where she researched and drafted an economic report for Governor DeSantis on the potential for aviation trade between Florida and Taiwan. At the University of Pennsylvania, she is a print author for the International Business Review. Her latest article analyzed digital disparities between the U.S. and China and its imminent effect on power dynamics. In addition, Amanda is a contact liaison for the Wharton Asia Exchange’s and the Joseph Wharton Scholars’ Alumni and Corporation Committees. Amanda is very excited to intern for TTCSP this summer and to serve as an intern coordinator on the TTCSP executive team.
