Jan is a freshman from Poland studying at the University of Pennsylvania and planning to major in neuroscience and psychology. His main areas of interest include, but are not limited to, cognitive biases and their influence on everyday decisions, abnormal psychology, methods of predicting people’s behaviors, and ways of how psychology as well as neuroscience are applicable in the socio-political context.

Jan has been deeply involved in the European Youth Parliament (EYP) since 2018. He was selected twice to represent Poland on the International Sessions of EYP, being the largest type of the event within the organization. In 2019, he conducted an innovative neuropsychosocial research project on his peers’ attitudes towards, inter alia, gender stereotypes and discrimination with the use of Biocode technology provided by NEUROHM. During the same year, he successfully supported Danuta Hübner in the 2019 election campaign to the European Parliament as a volunteer, developing postulates and promotion strategies. Jan is also a board member of the Penn Neuroscience Society. He was a project lead for the Central and Eastern Europe team at TTCSP during the Spring 2021 semester and now he fulfills the role of a TTCSP Intern Coordinator.
